After the storm - my sewing room!

My Sewing Room

Sometimes we just have to clean and get organized! Lol, this is my mess after I finished making a quilt. I find it so therapeutic to spend time cleaning and organizing and re-acquainting myself with old friends (other fabrics) after a quilt storm hits.  Sometimes this can take days. And that is ok!  It helps me to redirect and refocus on what I want to make next.

Don't you find that when you are in a 'cleaning' mode that your thoughts become clearer? That you become more energized and yet relaxed at the same time?

    1. Thanks! I was reading about all kinds of mix ups that can occur in the comment section if a 'line' isn't put between the commentators... Well, there does look to be a line there now! Thankfully!

  2. I can SO identify with your quilt storm remains!! I am in that situation now! But have to catch up on everything else that was put aside while I have been sewing this past month!

  3. My mess is all cleaned up after the Hawk/Hunter quilt I posted on fb... Now I need to get ready to teach a class at the end of the month and then get back to having fun with my fabrics. Thanks for writing!

    1. You know, I'm going to remember that. It's just the perfect thing to say if anyone comments about my house cleaning abilities!
