My 1st Place Ribbon at the AQS Show and Landscape/Animal Quilts from Albuquerque

I won 1st Place! Sunset Sentinel by Cathy Geier

 I dropped everything and flew to Albuquerque last weekend to go see my quilt at the show. I can't tell you how thrilled I was about winning the First Place Ribbon in Landscapes! It was amazing. The wonderful AQS people even interviewed me and if I look nice and said sensible things I'll post a link to the video, lol!
 (Otherwise I'll keep it secret!)

 I haven't blogged in a couple of weeks, and I'm still zonked out from the holidays!  I did get some quilty work done though; I added flowers to the foreground.
